Last night the Toronto Film Festival opened, and the international world premiere of Hayao Miyazaki’s The Boy And The Heron. The film is said to be the final project of the acclaimed writer/director, after such massive successes like Ponyo, Howl’s Moving Castle and of course Spirited Away – which always blew my mind.
Attendees of the event were surprised by super-fan Guillermo Del Toro appearing to introduce the screening, and he had the highest praise.
